JYAML 4.0.0 Release Candidate 1

The Joomla! Template Framework JYAML is now available as Release Candidate 1.

There have been no major changes. It have been fixed few bugs, implemented a accessible accordion with corresponding module style(chrome) and added a equal height method for MooTools based on YAML syncheight for jQuery.

 

For now the update server is also working (http://update.jyaml.de/list.xml).

Update notes:
You can update via the Joomla Extension Manager in the update section or simply install the package.
Important: If you upgrade the package or the template alone, your template changes will be lost, if you don't renamed the JYAML template to another name. Make a backup of your template files before upgrade, please.

It is not intended for use on production sites.

Bug Reporting:

Before report or generally in development state (e.g. you have a blank page), please set Error Reporting in the Joomla! Configuration to Maximum.  And please make sure the issue is not a Joomla! Bug itself. You can check this with a default Joomla! template (like beez) and temporary disable the JYAML System Plugin. Thanks!

    Hi, wann denkt ihr können wir mit einer Stable-Version denken? Da ich für ein neues Projekt gerne auf joomla setzen wollte und yaml-Engine mitbenutzen wollte.

    es wird in ca. 2 Wochen eine RC2 folgen für einen Joomla 1.7 Testlauf. Und voraussichtlich 1-2 Wochen nach Joomla 1.7 stable auch die JYAML 4.0 stable.

    Die Entwicklung ist im vollen gange. Lange dauert wirklich nicht mehr. Auf jedenfall vor dem 24.

    Hi Reinhard,

    vielen Dank für die Info. Arbeite jetzt schon einige Jahre mit JYAML und bin nach wie vor begeistert. Werde in nächster Zeit einige mittlere und größere Projekte mit der aktuellen JYAML Version umsetzen. Hierzu dann nach Fertigstellung mehr unter den Seitenvorstellungen im Forum.
