Manually JYAML update

Component and System-Plugin 

The JYAML-Configuration Component and the JYAML-System Plugin you can simply remove and then reinstall it. You can also install the JYAML-Package, because it installed only requiered extensions. Make sure that the JYAML-System Plugin be published if you install it separately, otherwise the template does not work anymore.

Update of the JYAML Template

The files of the template you must directly through over the file system to make update (via FTP or Explorer).

The directory yaml can you completely override. All other files you need to examine themselves, because only you can know what has changed.

Manual YAML-Framework Update

There are no new JYAML version, but you would like to hold the YAML framework up to date. There is no problem.

Download simply the latest version at YAML http://www.yaml.de/ and unpack the ZIP archive. This includes folder with the name yaml. This folder, you can easily copy  1:1 in JYAML.

  1. Connect first with FTP to your webspace.
  2. Then go into the Joomla! Main directory and go to /templates/[hm_yaml].
  3. Now you can also find the folder yaml. That you can now overwrite about 1:1. Please do not previously delete the yaml folder, because as in JYAML a few additional files are included.
  4. Reload this website, and testing. Done!
