Updates

The JYAML-Component for the configuration checks the version of the package. If a newer version is available, an update button with which you can execute the update appears in the overview on the right at the version.

What does the auto-update make ?

The update function replaces the JYAML-Component as well the JYAML-System-Plugin.

The YAML-Joomla!-Template is replaced only the folder yaml and update the Template-Plugins. 
Why only this? At this all customizations get template remain with that.

If you have multiple YAML-Joomla!-Templates, then they are automatically found and also as already described updated.

Manually JYAML update

If you update function can not use or do not want, you can also manually updates.

All files and packages you can find in the Download-Area.

Component and System-Plugin 

The JYAML-Configuration Component and the JYAML-System Plugin you can simply remove and then reinstall it. You can also install the JYAML-Package, because it installed only requiered extensions. Make sure that the JYAML-System Plugin be published if you install it separately, otherwise the template does not work anymore.

Update of the YAML Joomla! Template

The files of the template you must directly through over the file system to make update (via FTP or Explorer).

The directory yaml can you completely override. All other files you need to examine themselves, because only you can know what has changed.
