Much time has passed since the last version. Well, it was at the time, mainly due to the release of the Internet Explorer 8 a few bugs to fix. The version 3.0.3 is only a necessary intermediate update. In a few weeks is a major step is planned.

Changes:

• Core Update of YAML-Framework to Version 3.1.
  For compatibility reasons, #page and #page_margins still not converted into classes. Furthermore, the navigation stylesheets from the same reason has not yet been changed.

Update notes from JYAML 3.0.2 to 3.0.3

1. Download the latest version of the various extensions of the JYAML package.
   • Download: JYAML-System Plugin
   • Download: JYAML Component
   • Download: Joomla! Template (hm_yaml)
2. Uninstall with the Joomla!-Installer the JYAML component and the JYAML-System Plugin. 
3. Install now to the point 1 downloaded JYAML-System Plugin system and the JYAML Component.
4. The changes of the template you should do manually, because otherwise your own changes may be lost. Read more about this...

Manuelles Update Ihres JYAML-Templates:

First, please make a backup of your JYAML-Templates.

1. Extract the downloaded hm_yaml Template.
2. Now copy the directory yaml in your onw template and overwrite these. (Fix for IE8)
3. Then copy the file /html/mod_mainmenu/default.php in your own template.
   Here you may check whether their own adaptations have been made and match this.
4. Then copy the file /html/com_content/article/form.php in your own template. (Fix for JS error on edit article in frontend)
   Here you may check whether their own adaptations have been made and match this.
5. Now open in your own template the files index.php and index_gfxborder.php in directory /html/index/ and replace following HTML-Code
   <div id="footer" class="floatbox">
   with
   <div id="footer" class="clearfix">

Bei der Version 3.0.2 wurde der YAML Framework auf die Version 3.0.6 aktualisiert. Desweiteren wurden ein paar kleinere Fehler behoben die große und kleinere Auswirkungen hatten. Zudem wurde jQuery und jQuery-UI auf aktuellste Version upgedatet.

Zu dem ganzen wurde noch eine index_fullheight.php und basemode_fullheight.php hinzugefügt, da diese neue Vorlage auch in YAML 3.0.6 enthalten ist. Dann gibt es bei der benutzerdefinierten Seiten-Konfiguration noch eine neue Option die sich "Erzwingen bzw. Force nennt". Dies bewirkt, daß die entsprechend zugewiesene Konfiguration an erster Stelle geladen wird, wenn zwei oder mehrere gültig wären.

Natürlich wurden dann noch die HTML-Override Templates überprüft auf den sich in bereits im Umlauf befindenden "Double Title Bug" in Joomla!1.5.4. Das wurde nach meinen Wissen so gut wie möglich behoben und sollte soweit keine Probleme mehr machen. Hier ist aber ein manuelles Update der Extension Dateien im Template notwendig, da diese beim Update wegen eigenen Anpassungen nicht überschrieben werden, falls dieser Bug bei euch auftritt.

Und wie lange schon angekündigt gibt es jetzt endlich ein paar zusätzliche Template Plugins. Darunter ein Flyout/Dropdown Menü , eine verbesserte Inhalts Vorschau sowie ein SnycHeight Plugin zum abgleichen der Höhe z.B. in Subtemplates. Ein neuer Bereich für die Plugin Dokumentationen wurde ebenfalls erstellt.

It is here since the first release of the JYAML version 3 almost three months. Bow altogether, the first impressions and re-registrations were very positive and gave less as me have feared.

Now but the first small update.
Some faults in the HTML-Overrides templates were eliminated and store this worked by user-defined side configurations now with special signs, too. The configuration component checks now, too, actively whether the FTP mode. Most problems with the file rights should be overcome now with that.

To improve the preview of contents a little, additional base HTML files which also can be changed per design were added. This is called contentPreview.php. To activate the improved preview, gives an additional one to Template-Plugin soon.

An update still must be manually carried out. However, the Auto-Updatere has been improved with this version and should be update capable at the next version with a simple click.

I then still will revise and improve the documentation the next week. Furthermore there still will be one or two additional Template-Plugins.

Now, the wait finally ended. The JYAML-Version 3 for Joomla! 1.5 just went online and is ready for download as of now.

In the course of the development I came to make the remark that this project is really no more only a template now but a complete package to this to in YAML-Joomla-Template one represents. For this reason the project was getting the name "JYAML" now.

In the course of the development the project home page was revised completely and a shop is responsible for the purchase order transaction now. In addition, the documentation was translated into English for the JYAML-Version 3.

JYAML-Version 3 got special for Joomla! 1.5 develops and therefore revises completely. The unique JYAML template configuration by Joomla component makes the template even more flexible than it has previously been the case. The complete control takes the JYAML-System-Plugin.
