JYAML 3.0.5 released

In JYAML 3.0.5 the YAML framework has been updated to version 3.3.0. And the 'forgot my password' template was updated to include the user name as form field.

In addition a new feature is implemented to create dynamic body CSS-Classes for even more options when designing. You can use it like this <body<?php echo $jyaml->getBodyClassString(); ?>>.

Update notes from JYAML 3.0.4 to 3.0.5

On first please read the update article in the documentation as well.

You can easily upgrade with the complete package (or alternatively the system plugin and the component separately). The existing files (except the template) are replaced automatically with the upgrade method.

The template must be updated as always by hand. Otherwise maybe you lost their own layout changes.

The message "template already exists" can be ignored after install the complete package. This only appears when a template is already installed with the name "hm_yaml. As mentioned above it must be updated manually.

Before the upgrade make a backup of your JYAML template, please.

Manually update of your JYAML template:

  1. Download and unzip the JYAML standard template (hm_yaml).
  2. Then copy the folder "yaml" into your own template root foder to upgrade the YAML framework to version 3.3.0.
  3. To use the new dynamic body CSS-Classes, you must be replace <body> with  <body<?php echo $jyaml->getBodyClassString(); ?>>, in "/html/index/index.php" and on all other "index_*.php" files.
  4. And finally you should be update the version number from 3.0.4 to 3.0.5 in the templateDetails.xml.
